Most of the film then takes place in a flashback to the era of the Great Depression i.e. the 1930s. But this is not some old boring movie. The scenaries, the outfits are very colorful. Water for Elephants has received generally positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. It's a tale tastefully told. It revolves around the Benzini Brothers Circus. The people who work in this family of circus, the travelling from one place to another to perform, and the problems they face. Of course this story is about Jacob (played by Robbert Pattinson) and how he comes aboard the Benzini Brothers Circus train, and falls in love with the owner's wife.

Here's my overall review broken down to a few categories:

Storyline: 7.5/10
Actors: 7/10
Soundtrack: 4/10
Would I watch it again: Yes, once in a blue moon
