A limit to being stingy

stin·gy
Unwilling to give or spend; ungenerous: "his employer is stingy and idle".
Insufficient in quantity; scanty: "the crabmeat is stingy and the black bean soup is not quite hot enough".
We know someone who is the most stingiest person I have ever met in my life.

Unfortunately, he is also a relative. The best part is, he is a very rich guy. Oh, and his wife isn't aware of how stingy he can get. He is always looking for ways and opportunities to make use of people. The rain would begin to pour from the ground under if he ever offers to pay for a meal.

Not only he expect you to pay for any meal where he is in it, but he also expect you to help him drive him around. For example, he had to attend a meeting at Sunway Convention Centre, who does he call for help? Yes, us. He says it will just be for a max of 10 to 15 minutes, ended up we waited for more than an hour. He is all sweet and nice when he needs a favor.

Oh and he never calls us. Whenever he wants to speak to us - he would text and ask to call him back. I was very naive before this and used to call him back. But since February when my mom got sick and all, and how he behaved, has made me put a stop to being nice.

The list goes on and on to prove how stingy he is. But anyway, I guess it's enough of a rant.

    1. There you are Mr Tea Drinker... Been quite eh - no new posts? Ahh yes, he is indeed 'poor' - perhaps that is why he is a lonely and sad guy.
