Failed 2nd cycle Clomid + 1st cycle IUI

Yeap, the procedure failed. I got my period. Period.

So what's next? This time the doctor put the ball in our hands.

What do we want to do - laproscopy or try another round of IUI.

We decided to try one more round of IUI. I am on my 3rd cycle of Clomid + 2nd IUI.

Day 10 will be the deciding day - as the doctor will see how many eggs and what's the diameter. If it's ready than the next will be the HCG trigger shot and the IUI procedure, again.

What do we feel? Upset, sad & angry!

But is it worth it? Well, we can't be positive all the time.
After all, aren't we humans?

Blessings & it's mysterious ways

I am talking about blessings of a child.
Someone who we know (Let's name them A) was blessed to have their second child. But due to some serious unavoidable circumstances, they are opting to abort the pregnancy. Now don't get all angry, as they are not killing a living being, yet. It's just a lump of cells dividing. It's still a zygote, I think.

When A told me about this, I was so happy. Over the top happy for them. But then in mere seconds, I had tears running down my cheeks as I heard what was going to happen.
A was contemplating whether to inform me or not about this, but they did. And for that, I am honored. They know about our TTC journey, and yet to have the thought to share this with me, made me feel grateful.

I could hardly stop myself from crying. It wasn't out of anger, but it was because I for one, know how hard it is to even have that privilege to say "I'm pregnant".
A told me why they have decided to do so, and it's totally their choice. I believe that only the person who is going through whatever it is they are going through will know what's best for their situation.

God's ways are really mysterious. HE blesses those with a child who either don't want or have so many already. But HE plays a really hard game on those who seek to be blessed for just one.

Not the right time? Yeah, right. Don't get me started on that one!  :p

Wanting, hoping, waiting and praying,
To have a little one to call our own;
Getting tired of trying and failing,
And not forgetting the feeling of being incomplete & alone.

Sometimes I forget it's not all about a child,
That's when I realize, there's more to life;
When I get fed up of this roller coaster ride,
I should get a grip and enjoy life!

Another new shoe!

We went to Subang Parade recently and I couldn't help but to walk into Pedal Works. I wanted to get a white & red shoe from their latest collection, but ended up choosing a different one instead!   ;)

Actually, it was hubby's pick. And what I was trying it on, he looked at me and said, that's a bit too high of a heel isn't it. I was like yeah it is, but let me walk and see.My first highest heel!

One thing I have realized about Pedal Works is that their shoes are very comfortable. I have worn this blue shoes a few times already, and I have never once experience aching feet (I mean, look at the heels man!). I had bought a shoe from Aldo, and I can't wear that for a long period. My feet aches!

Maybe Pedal Works cater for those who indeed have big feet and are tall. Whatever it is, it's super comfy!

(Eye) Make Up Remover?

The next you stop to purchase an eye make up remover, don't waste your money. I saw on the web once how this person used Olive Oil as her eye make up remover. I contemplated to try (not that I use eye shadow, liner and mascara everyday) but never got around to it. Finally when I did, I found it to be the best make up remover I have ever used.

I am using extra virgin olive oil. I had bought a bottle of it to try as salad dressing, but never liked it. So the bottle has been lying there, and that's when I decided, why waste it? Heheh Please remember that it generally does not cause any oil pimples or breakouts. I use it as my eye make up remover, and also if I am using foundation for that day, I use the e.v.o.o to even remove my face make up.

Here's a photo I took of my before and after:
